Smt Asha Gunashekhar producer of ‘Makkale Manikya’ that has a unique thought for elders to inculcate considered as best film by 5th BIFFEs is now in deep trouble that is because of existing system.

Even after paying weekly rent of Rs.1.50 lakhs, arranging distributor Ajay Chandani of Pal Enterprises, paying the Qube and UFO fees that amount to Rs.1.25 lakhs the investor of over Rs.30 lakhs Asha Gunashekhar film ‘Makkale Mankiya’ is facing trouble.

After two days of screening Menaka theatre management closed the theatre. It has sent back the audience by using unhealthy practice that is moronic to Kannada cinema.

Asha Gunashekhar consulting Indrajith Lankesh Editor and director of Kannada films on the issue came before the media and explained the ordeals.

With no support from anyone she is demanding return of Rs.1.50 lakh from Menaka theatre and wants to release in other theatre so that a well made film ‘Makkale Manikya’ gets right share of importance.

The children film was viewed by over 1000 children on first day. What is the problem for the theatre management when rent for one week is collected in advance asks Smt Asha Gunashekhar.
